An inspirational person that inspires me is Richard Sherman. He is currently a football player on the Seattle Seahawks and plays as a cornerback. He inspires me to always speak my mind and be able to back it up, so no one can tell me i'm wrong. While many football players like to avoid answering social questions he love to take them head on. One of the quotes by him that i like is “ A lion doesn't concern himself with the opinions of a sheep.” To me he is saying when you speak your mind and back it up correctly, you shouldn’t be concerned about what others think or what they are saying. Another quote by him that i like is “ Don’t you dare try and talk about my dreams… i'm the best in MY league.” He inspires me to believe in myself and don't let others try to control me or tell me what to do. When he is talking about his game and someone tries to put him down, he doesn’t comeback ready to fight. He comes back with a harder game and powerful, inspirational words that “Shut ‘em up, Shut ‘em down”.

I really like that quote by Richard Sherman where he says "A lion doesn't concern himself with the opinions of a sheep." because the way i interpret that is similar to how you do because I also believe that you should let others people's judgement change who you are or what you believe and whether or not you do says a lot about one's character. When you speak your mind you should always be able to back up your reasoning because there's is no proof without evidence.

I kind of knew that you were going to do Mike, Jadyn! Even though I knew he had a website, I didn't know that he was adopted! Its cool to have an idol who had been through a lot that still makes time to help others. When I saw the musical and even though his character was kind of a jerk, he is still a inspirational character that tells us that we are not forgotten. I love that Mike wants to help people who are just like Connor.

The person that I am inspired the most by is the men's soccer goalie, Tim Howard. He inspires me because just like me he has a Tic disorder called "Tourette Syndrome". This disorder was especially hard for me in elementary school and the first year of middle school because I was not able to control it as well as I can right now. Also, at the time I was a soccer goalie myself. I was able to protect the goal fairly well but I would have done better if not for my disorder. One day after a soccer game where I let 3 balls go in the goal because I was in the middle of my tic. I came home incredibly sad and my mom presented me with a book that Tim wrote called " The Keeper". I was incredibly inspired that he was able to protect the goal box amazingly while having worse Tourette's than I did. The book was incredibly inspiring and helped me with controlling and regulating my Tics. A quote that he said that I really like is "Stay humble, stay grounded, remember what got you to that level-and that’s hard work" . I like that quote because it reminds us to not be super Grand and to work hard

Even though i have the slightest idea of what Tourette's Syndrome is, i think its cool that the person that inspires you has the same condition as you and likes to do the things you do. I would've never thought that you had a syndrome. To me you looked perfectly normal in your own way. Everyone has something about them that no one knew or thought would ever be true until the person comes out and say it. So continue to be you and continue to be inspired.

Someone who inspired me is Marshmello a electronic dance music producer. His music helped me alot with homework and concentrating to other stuff. He doesn't reveal who he is but i am curious to find out. He is a very simple person like me. He always wants to have fun like and give full effort in his work which is like me. He doesn't talk at all in public but i am kind of like that except i can talk but not much if i don't know them but if i know you then i talk to you alot. He inspired me to be like but but i am currently thinking about that and what career i should do. There was a person who he didn't know that well that helped him spread his work. There are times when someone helps me and i help them back. This inspired me to help others who need help no matter who they are.

I like it how you did Marshmello! He is an amazing artist and his music helped me do homework and get through not so good times as well. I may talk more often than you do but I understand the reason and you’re resemblance to him. He also has me to think about what I should do when I grow up or what college I go to. You picked an awesome artist and person to be inspired by and he inspires many others including me.

One person that inspires me is a MLB pitcher by the name Jake Diekman. Jake Diekman is a pitcher for the Texas Rangers organization. When i discovered him it made me feel better. When he was young he was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, the same thing I have. While in the MLB Diekman has a major flare up and caused him to stop playing baseball and he had to have surgery. I love to play baseball and I also have ulcerative colitis so I can relate to Diekman. He recently made his debut for the 2017 season with a minor league team. He inspired me and proved to me that you can still play sports and do things with this condition. He motivates me to try and do things that I thought i may never do again.

9/26/17 An inspirational person who inspires me is Mao Zedong or Mao Tse-Tung who was the chairman of the Chinese Communist Party by one of his quotes. The quote "We think too small, like the frog at the bottom of the well. He thinks the sky is the only as big as the top of the well. If he surfaced he would have an entirely different view" from Mao inspired me to look at the essential things of school and education rather than the things that aren't that important. Before Mao had inspired me I used to think that the most important thing in school was to get good grades like the frog at the bottom of the well who thought that the sky was as big as the top of the well. After Mao inspired me I started to notice how grades weren't as important as the things that are learned in school because the things that you've learned are going to lead you to success in the future, while grades are just a letter that reflects what you've done in class. This is just like what Mao said about the frog, if the frog had surfaced the well he would see an entirely new world which in my case is being successful in learning that'd later lead me to my future success rather than just trying to get a letter grade. For example, if someone copies off a person's paper and gets an A in that class it wouldn't help the person throughout the rest of his/her life because he/she didn't learn anything in that class that can benefit his/her future. This doesn't mean that grades aren't important, but it's just not as important as learning because learning is what effects your life in the future. Mao also inspires me with another one of his quotes that says "In times of difficulties, we must not lose our sight of achievement", this inspires me to never give up my goals in life or school when something is difficult. At a young age I always changed my goals for school because I always had difficulties in school that'd come up occasionally which caused me to change my goals every often due to not wanting to face the difficulties. Every year in school I would have the same/similar difficulties that came up to, but I never wanted to face the difficulties that were given to me. I knew that eventually I would have to face these difficulties and Mao's quotes gave me courage to face the difficulties that I had to face, but never faced due to being afraid of knowing results after facing the difficulties. Mao has inspired me to be who I am today with many of his quotes with these two that means or inspires me the most.

I`ve honestly never been interested into politics or anything, but I like this Mao dude. He seems very wise and laid back because of his quotes. His quote is like world history since we thought that our world was restricted because of its flat shape until we rose up to the occasion of finding its true dimension and finding its true shape, like the frog. When the frog came out that well it found many new and inspiring possibilities that some other animals down there might not know about. Those possibilities may have given that frog the confidence to find more things in this new large world. And how you tied this quote to your life like how that letter grade doesn't apply to what you have really learned and that you shouldn't be brought down because of it.

I like the first quote you used. It helps us realize what you are trying to say. Instead of you putting on extra work you just put that in one sentence. I agree with you on that quote because we all think we have a limit but really we are the ones who put the limit upon ourselves. We can try to say things like thats as far as I can go but really it's as far as we look. We never try to see further.

Someone who inspires me is Michael Phelps. He is an olympic swimmer and has the most medals in the world for swimming. The reason he inspires me is because he was 15 when he went to his first olympics and raced in 8 events. He got 6 gold medals and 2 silvers when he was 15. He was swimming against grown men in their young to mid twenties and yet he's a teenager. He was also the reason I wanted to start swimming next to my older brother because when he beat Milorad Cavic in the 100 Fly Long course by .01 seconds. I was watching that race and it made me want to start swimming. Michael Phelps has also been to other countries helping out poor children. Also one of those children he met became a swimmer and an actually good swimmer to. The kid at the time was 16 when he raced Michael Phelps in the 100 Fly. The kid beat Michael but Phelps didn't get upset he is very humble and was actually joyful that the kid won. He than didn't go home upset even though he didn't win and he taught me that you're never going to win every time but when you don't you don't get mad but feel humble.

It was an obvious choice for you to choose Michael Phelps. I find it astonishing how one person, no matter the age can achieve anything if they work hard enough at it. I admire your reason behind swimming as well. With how I read it, it seemed that you didn’t start swimming, only because your older brother was, which that is the common reason for many younger siblings; it was to challenge yourself and see what you're really capable of. It’s good to have a positive outlook on things, in your case, it’s a sport, because it reminds us why we are doing it.

This is olympic swimmer is unlike any other that i known. He inspires many people to become swimmers which is good because most teenagers these days don't do as much exercise as they need and stay inside looking at social media. He also helps poor people which most people won't do and just walk by like it is nothing but it is. He is also unique in a way because he actually won a medal at a very young age which most people couldn't do because they never try. I liked how he taught people that winning is not everyday it is about having fun and helping others out.

I like how you chose someone who you share a similar passion with. Michael Phelps is a phenomenal swimmer and he is a great person to look up to because he has accomplished so much. And he even teaches people to be humble whether we win or not and to always have good sportsmanship. If you never learn how to lose you won't be prepared to win.

Probably my biggest role model/idol is Ben Platt. As I said in my speech, he is the title character in the popular musical Dear Evan Hansen. Ben plays a teenager with severe social anxiety who accidentally has a lie that was never meant to be told happen. When I went to see the musical, I was so amazed on how he could be belting out a song while crying his eyes out. I didn't know this, but Ben actually has mild anxiety in real life. This makes me love him even more because he can actually use something that he has in real life to put towards a character he is playing. Sometimes, just listening to him sing can help me get through hard times because he sings of feeling alone. I can feel this way sometimes, and so can everyone. Ben Platt sings of being found and realizing the love around him. I wasn't sent to sponsor him or the musical, but if you haven't ever heard of Dear Evan Hansen or listened to it, I recommend listening to it!

I also assumed you were going to do Ben ! I also think it’s amazing how he can cry so well and not have his voice break away in the process. I didn’t know he had anxiety in real life though, I read something about how he developed it from playing Evan but I don’t quite remember. I relate to what you said, because listening to You Will Be Found, especially Bens part is very comforting. He does give off in the song, when realizing he is loved, he also gives the feel that whoever he is singing to is loved as well and I really like that. I also like how even though Ben does have that anxiety, he still gets on stage, and still meets fans, that’s very inspiring.

I too love Ben Platt. He was in one of my favorite movies, Pitch Perfect!! It was very surprising to hear that he had such anxiety, especially for the amount of confidence he puts in his performances. Understanding the background of one of your favorite celebrities shows me how much everyone is alike. Just because celebrities get that cash and are well known everywhere and had admirers following them doesn't make them any more different compared to us. Everyone is equal and that is something that believe Ben portrays through his acting.

The famous person that inspires me is RuPaul Andrews, as wise as he is as a man and as a women. Growing up always having drag queen music playing in the background or while my mom was doing chores (being exposed to it at a young age) and having family members supporting and or possibly involved in the community of drag, I've noticed something and that something is what makes you different will make you successful, (Just look at RuPaul!) Not until I was in 8th grade did I fully grasp the understanding the meaning behind these women, neither did I know who RuPaul was but when I had finally gotten the chance to understand, I never regretted it. RuPaul is a wonderful woman figure and drag superstar, she speaks truly from her heart and words of wisdom to her drag daughters and sisters. I think it's very interesting how in the BuzzFeed video, RuPaul talks about how through his art form he found his true self, its just goes to show that what you love to do and what you're passionate about can help you in the road of self discovery. Some of the very inspirational things RuPaul has said in that video I find very important to myself is "Don't spend too much time trying to get people to like you... if your intention is kindness and love you have nothing to worry about... let your tribe find you." in other words he is saying that just being yourself will cause nice people and people that care about you enter into your life, or at least people who have the same interests and understand what you do. I really do believe that RuPaul has made his mark on not only me but on this whole world. From RuPaul's first hit song to the most recent episode of RuPaul's drag race she continues to influence young and old people with her words of wisdom. One quote from every episode of RuPaul's drag is "if you can't love yourself... how can you love someone else?" in other words if you're broken how do you think you'll be able to fix another? I know that RuPaul and what he does isn't for everyone but I do believe that he has made his way into mainstream subculture one way or another, just as any other celerity has, he is making a difference some how. With RuPaul's drag race having millions of views and over 1.5 million streams the media has started accepting this drag queen culture more and more with every season. In conclusion RuPaul has very much made a impact on my life one way or another.

Honestly you being inspired by someone who you grew up listening to or being exposed too(i could never do this i grew up with heavy rap and rock). A person who inspires me is an YouTuber named Elton Castee, he’s known for running the YouTube channel ‘TFIL’ I’m not going to say what it stands for (I mean it’s not bad it just is not school appropriate). You know most youtubers use their social media for their own self greed, Elton has used his to raise money for the SPCLA (animal shelter in long beach, California) and the Houston relief program that was sent from L.A to Houston for the animals after hurricane Harvey struck it hard. In total, he raised 188,275 dollars between donations and seals on his clothing company. He has also broke the world record for the longest live stream with151 hours of steam time and staying in the top 10 on YouTube at all times during the 151 hours (I felt this was worth mentioning) TFIL is a channel dedicated to Elton and his friend doing things such as driving expensive cars, traveling, and exploring exciting places. My whole life has been staying in one place and not seeing places and living by the books, I want to travel it’s my dream to travel the world. He used his following on vine and turned it into a life style that I could only dream for (not saying want to be a social influencer or anything) he gets to travel FOR A JOB!! Elton went from living in a small town in Connecticut to living in los angles a pursuing a life style of traveling and documenting it and posting it for others to see. My whole life I was told to go to school to get and graduate and then go to college honestly, I’ve never wanted to go to school case I’ll have to the same thing every day and I only have a certain number of years here on this earth and when I die I want to know I lived it the way I wanted to. Elton inspired me to live it up and do what scares me and send it.

A person who i find is inspirational to me is Taraji Henson. As a little kid i would always watch movies with her in it so that kind of helped towards it. But it wasnt until second grade when i actually began to understand her characters she played. Now recently my mother showed me a video where she was giving a speech about her journey to fame (at the bottom of this). Now normally i am a very strong willed person, but every once in while or so we all get discouraged.

Wow, from what iv'e read in that article, she sounds like a warrior. I really admire how she went to college non stop, while being pregnant the entire time. I couldn't even begin to imagine what it'd be like to have to lug around a baby with you every where, especcially when you have such a busy schedule like she did. I was also really impressed with how she got so much recognition from being on Empire and not from her other roles. Don't get me wrong, Baby Boy and Think Like A Man are pretty well known, but she got so much personal recognition for her role on Empire, which i think is mainly because the show and her character both deal with modern and up to date issues many people face today. I think the most shocking fact was that she actually worked at the pentagon, which is amazing. Basically Taraji is a godess, and can do anything, wether it's entertaining, working at an office, or even being a mother. She is very aspiring and I can see how someone could look up to her as role model.

Someone that has inspired me is James Charles, an extremely talented male makeup artist. James was also the very first male CoverGirl. He inspires me to step outside the box because of his amazing creativity. He thinks of things that many skilled and older makeup artists couldn't imagine, which is amazing, since he only 18 years old. His work helps me touch into my creativity, with his diverse color palette and muted drag style. I am amazed at how many styles he can do well such as drag, natural makeup, abstract art, and dramatic looks. If you are familiar with James Charles, you probably know about his "Flashback Mary" incident where his setting powder created the illusion of extremely pale white flashback. His response taught me how to stay positive. Instead of letting the haters bring him down, he posted a video laughing at himself. This taught me how to not take negative responses too seriously. In the cosmetic industry, there will always be haters. Most say I'm "too young" to wear makeup, and I can easily brush this off because you can never be too young to express yourself. James Charles has taught me to not be afraid to step out of my comfort zone and be completely myself. He has taught me the core value of passion. To ignore the people who hate, you must be truly passionate about your work. You have to take risks in certain looks, even if you know they may be a little strange, and not everyone's taste. In a recent "stained glass" look he created, it was an out-of-the-ordinary look with many asymmetrical lines into a cut crease. It takes a lot of passion and courage to post a look that is different or abstract, because not everyone can understand the beauty in something strange. James Charles has taught me how to ignore these people.

I think James Charles is an icon in the beauty industry. I admire that he isn't afraid to be himself no matter what people say about him. His makeup is pure artwork, I don't know how he does it so well. He started doing makeup very young, but his work with Covergirl didn't stop him from having good grades in school. I think it's important to maintain an education and do what you love at the same time. Also, nobody is "too young" to express themselves, as you said, and I'm glad you brush off the things people say about your makeup.

They want to be like everyone so they don’t get judged. More people need to be like him and do what they love. He ignores the people that hate and everyone else should too.

Personally, somebody who has inspired me in my life is Nick Jonas. Not only do I love him and his music, but I admire his charitable work. Nick was diagnosed at a young age with diabetes, and has since created, with his brothers, the Change for Children Foundation. They partnered with 5 different charities to raise money for kids with diabetes and other diseases. This really hits home because my grandfather, father, and many other people in my family have diabetes and health issues. I think raising awareness to these diseases is very important. Nick's hard work has paid off and has helped many kids in need. Not only that, but Nick has always done what makes him happy in life like acting and making music. He has never let his disease or anything stand in his way of fulfilling his dreams. Even some of his songs are about diabetes and how it's taken a serious toll on him. Everything about him is truly inspiring to me, and he's made me realize that even though people seem to have such amazing lives, they still have issues just like the rest of us.

Like you said I have a lot of illness in both mom and dad's side of the family as well so I love how he's showing awareness to people who have health issues. It must be difficult being a musician, to publish your songs. This is because they are your feelings, and you are showing everyone how you feel. That is intimidating to someone who is not comfortable showing their innermost feelings. For this reason, I look up to all musicians. This includes Nick Jonas, and I also enjoy his music. I knew that you were going to write about Nick Jonas because you are slightly obsessed with him.

Someone that inspires me is Beethoven. Beethoven was abused by his own father when he was very young, but he still had this creativity that would inspire many people centuries after his death. Beethoven inspires me because even though he was abused and had difficilties in his childhood, he never lost his creativity to make music and had a determined passion for music. When he was only 7 his father made him preform and study music with him and if I was forced to do something by anybody, I wouldn't be creative and lose the passion for anything, but he was passionate on making music. Beethoven also inspires me because when his father could no longer take care of his family he took matters into his own hands and went out to find a job when he was only ten, he had to provide for himself which would be a challenge for many people at that age and how he managed to get a job to survive inspires me. Beethoven was a brilliant conductor and a excellent muscian which makes me want to pratice more on music so I can make other people feel at least better like he did. Even when he was going deaf, he still had a passion on making music and that determination inspires me to stay positive at difficult situations and to for nothing to stop me fron achieving my dreams. When he was madly in love, paranoid, going deaf, and had a miserable life he didn't let his creativity and those emotions go to waste, he used those emotions to create beautiful pieces of art and his passion inspires me. The biography about Beethoven gave me more information about Beethoven and his life and made me admire him more because how his father was an alcoholic, but he still went on creating music. The biography about Beethoven also had infomation about the music and his achievements which he had many.

This guy is so amazing! I liked that he overcame all the obstacles he faced. Even though he is deaf I couldn't believe he still makes music like that. This actually inspired me to become a musician but i still have alot to think about my career. He even worked at an early age which I couldn't do and makes me realized of what I have and to be thankful about it. He made me think about how he was able to still have passion for something that he was forced to do and i would have lost passion at the beginning but he was able to kept that passion and do more with it.

I've always felt that some of the most broken people make the most impactful pieces of art, literature, music, etc. I agree with you on this too! I've noticed that after i was diagnosed with anxiety (and others) that I really started to push myself into a more expressive side through music, and man I couldn't be happier. I really do think that Beethoven is truly an amazing artist, he inspires millions, and made of the most impactful marks in musical history. Really cool how he inspires you to continue with your musical passion.

I like it how you did Beethoven!! He is an amazing producer and his music is good then and now. He can play multiple instruments and inspires people to take up and learn to play an instrument. I like it how you said he took matters into his own hands when his father couldn’t support the family and he did that very well. When he was going deaf he still made music which is pretty hard but he still did it and I liked how you included that and what the biography site taught you.

Beethoven has also instilled the importance of hard work and perseverance in me. Beethoven faced myriad obstacles- from the abuse from his father to becoming deaf in the middle of his career. He overcame all of these obstacles, and his passion and dedication to create music never waned. While he was deaf, Beethoven wrote what is considered to be one of his greatest achievements- Missa Solemnis. He overcame obstacle after obstacle, and never once did he give up his passion or his dedication for music.

Great musicians like Beethoven are what originally inspired my love of music and my desire to play an instrument. I think it's amazing that people have gone through so much pain and suffering, yet they still came out on top and became successful. I actually didn't know much about Beethoven's life besides his music before reading your post, but now I admire him even more. I'm astonished that he was still able to compose beautiful music despite being deaf!

A famous person who inspires me every day is actress, Nina Dobrev. She stars on one of my favorite shows, “The Vampire Diaries” and she plays the main character, Elena. In the series, Elena is the kind-hearted girl who everybody loves and wants to know. She is beautiful and confident, and someday I hope to be like she is. Her character always puts her loved ones and even strangers’ lives before her own and she would die for anyone and everyone. She loves like nobody has ever seen, and this has completely changed how I treat people. In the show, she dies multiple times to save somebody she loves, and I couldn’t not think of someone more inspirational than that. A quote bye Nina that I really love is, “Even though you’re growing up, you should never stop having fun.” This quote is awesome to me because I feel like having fun and being happy is the key to life, no matter how old you are. She also inspires me, because in this article, she explains how no matter what you look like, you are beautiful, and so many young girls don’t believe that, even though they should. She explains how she is imperfect just like everybody else, and she just embraces it. She doesn’t care what people think of her, and I don’t think she could have said it any better.

Nina Dobrev is also another person who inspires me as well. Also, I love Vampire Diaries too! Elena is an amazing character, but she's crazy/cool when she turns off her humanity. Sometimes I want to do that, but I sadly can't. Alright back on track, I think that you did a good job of explaining. Also I can see how you are similar to her. You do put people you love first, but I am pretty sure that you have not died several times for someone- if you have, you are magic!

I too love the show "The Vampire Diaries." Nina's character also changed the way I treated people because she always put others before herself. I thought she was different than most people these days who pretty much only care about themselves, and I realized how important it is to care and love others. I also believe having fun is necessary in life no matter how old you are.

I love this show. " The Vampire Diaries" are one of my favorite shows of all time. I'm the show I also loved how she always put others before herself I think that's a very brave move. I remember how she would always tell Stefan and Damon that it was wrong to kill innocent people. She always stayed true to the heart even when she turned and got back to her normal self she was still the same kind hearted person she's always been.

I am inspired by: Liza Koshy. Liza Koshy is a 21 year old internet star with 11.7 million subscribers on YouTube, 13.8 million followers on Instagram, and 1.4 million followers on Twitter. She has also starred in one of my most favorite movies, “Boo! A Madea Halloween”. Liza inspires me because she isn’t afraid to show people how she feels and she’s confident about herself. Even though she is a very entertaining, pretty, and hilarious person she is also serious and she puts others before herself. Liza just recently created her own line of necklaces in which the motto is entitled “A Pay It Forward Company”. One of her most famous sayings is “little brown girl is out...byeee”. Everytime she says that I feel more comfortable about my physical appearance and ethnicity because I too am a “little brown girl” and by this I mean we are both biracial. One of my favorite Instagram posts that I had seen was a picture that read as follows: “BE WHO WE ARE. She then proceeded to put this as the caption: “eight years of progression, optimism and change. and to another four years of the exact same. as long as WE, the people, strive for it. listen, learn then lead by example. be empowered to be you. i'm talking to you youngsters on your twatters and snapcats. be the change you wish to see. and then twatter about it.” This made me realize that even behind all that laughter and comical moments there was a motivation that lead her to say what she did in order to grab the attention of this young generation. Liza is an inspiration to all young women and how we need to accept who we are and sometimes even laugh at ourselves and our mistakes so that we learn how to be comfortable with who we are.

I think that in a way you are similar to her because you are pretty, funny, and entertaining as well. I promise that I am not saying that you are like her due to racial matters. I haven't seen "Boo! Her and her characters are hilarious. She inspires people to be themselves. Some people probably look at her because she’s an adult and acts crazy all over social media, but she’s being herself and doing what she loves. What’s wrong with that?

A person who inspires me is Paul Stanley, the rhythm guitarist and singer of KISS. Although, I probably would be expected to write about a person from a band, I believe that my reasons go beyond that. He has influenced me to not care so much about what other people think, and to use my talents to my full potential. Over the summer, I read his book called, “Face the Music: A Life Exposed” and at the time I didn’t know that what I was about read would change my way of seeing life. He talks about how as a child, he did not have a right ear, and was deaf in that ear as well. This made him extremely self-conscious about himself and for most of his life, he felt alone and somewhat depressed. Throughout most of his life, he wouldn’t talk to anyone about how he felt, even though he knew he should have, and felt worse. Even though I don’t have his problem, there was a time when I wouldn’t tell anyone how I really felt, and I couldn’t live with myself. I thought that no one would care about it, so I decided not to say anything, hoping everything would get better on its own. As I was reading Paul’s book, he begins to talk about how he started to play the guitar. He mentions that some people thought that he was just wasting his time, but he continued playing, and eventually became part of one of the biggest rock bands ever. Even though I am encouraged to learn how to play the guitar, I find it admirable that he continued to play to express himself by writing songs, and performing them. When I finished reading the book, I had a new outlook on life: make the best with what you have, and sometimes, it’s not bad to express how you are really feeling. Now, when I play my guitar either with myself or my friends, I know that I also have the chance to make my music a career.

When I think of KISS I automatically think of Gene Simmons. I didn’t think about the guitarist. I didn’t even know his name. KISS is a awesome band since personally, I like to listen to that type of music. I see how this music reflects on you in real life from your lunch box to your personality. Even though I could argue that Peter Criss is the best KISS member. Things you listen to can be connected to what you say like how I always talk about Queen`s best songs or the Beetle`s best guitar solo. I especially like how you in cooperated a quote from a book and see how it can change a life. Now that I have seen that quote you spoke about, I can see it in how you speak about your Gameboy or something like Spanish work.

A person that inspires me is a well known Amateur soccer player names Nico Calabria. Almost everyone knows I play soccer and I have for a while. I always talk about the sport and stories I have to do with soccer. Nico was born without a right leg or hip, but he still plays soccer, wrestling and gymnastics. Nico has also raised 100,000 dollars for charity by climbing a mountain. He was on varisty for his highschool team, one day his dad recorded him and posted it on YouTube. It got around 2 million views quickly. This is the video-https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BIjhrlWdFa4. Ever sense I have seen him, I don’t give up. I could be in the field ready for a drink and half dead but I make sure to strive on because struggling with a my breath and tiredness is weak compared to Nico, a starter playing most of the game with a leg.

Being born without a leg is hard to deal with. But playing soccer and climbing a mountain without a leg is incredible. That's really good that he is striving for something and accomplished something.

One of the many people that has impacted my life would be Helen Keller. Helen Keller impacted my life because she was a blind and deaf American author, lecturer, and a crusader- a campaigner- for the handicapped. She was even the first deaf and blind person to graduate with a bachelor degree of arts. She also learned sign language, and was able to read Braille, that helped her give speeches with the help of her helper/tutor person named Anne Sullivan. Before she was deaf and blind, she was just a regular little girl. As a little girl she got really sick with scarlet fever and that's how she turned blind and deaf. Helen Keller inspires me because even though she was blind and deaf, she still did everything she wanted to do, like writing her own book, and she was able to have a normal life. This has impacted my "Talents/Abilities" Identity circle because she taught me that even "sick" people can still be "normal" or have a regular life and she just took on life like it was and didn't give up. Helen Keller also impacted my "Beliefs/ Values" circle because, after a while, she believed that she could get anything done if she put her mind to it, even though it would be a challenge. She also believed that life can be what you make it, but there are challenges involved. When I was younger, I had to do this same project, but I had to put it into a presentation. I dressed up just like Helen Keller and gave a speech about "my life". She is just an inspiration because she wasn't only blind and deaf, but she was a woman. Even though getting sick wasn't planned, her life turned out just like any of ours. In my opinion, she is just an amazing person and she is my role model.

I like that helen keller used something that was meant to cripple her and turned it into something that would bring her greatness. But she basically turned her struggle into something to bring her up. Reading her story gives me vibe thats like keep going no matter what. Even though she was blind and deaf she still succeed. Reading the piece of information you gave and what was on the webisite makes me want to learn more about her. I find her very empowering.

I also think that Helen Keller is very inspirational. Even though she had disabilities, she was able to turn her life into something great. She took her disabilities and used them to help her come as far as she has in life. She didn't give up and she just kept going even though her life was rough. What you wrote about her interested me and made me want to learn more.

When I was in elementary school, I did a huge project on Helen Keller, and I learned so much more about her. She is such an inspiration because in the beginning, she was hesitant about everything, but she turned her disabilities into a way of life and helping people. I think it is amazing when you said, how her life turned out just like any other woman’s because I never really thought of it like that. Now that I do, I agree, even though there were a few bumps in the road, she didn’t let that stop her from succeeding in life. It really does inspire me to know that a woman who was blind and deaf for most of her life, wrote her own book! I struggle just writing an essay, but Helen, even with her infirmities, she didn’t let that stop her from living her life, which is so amazing to me.

A person that has influenced the way I feel and think is Maria Brink. She is the lead singer of the metal band, In This Moment. Now you probably have not heard of her, but if you know of New Years Day, or Motionless In White, then you might have heard the name. Regardlesss of popularity, Maria is truly a powerful woman. Although her appearnce or the way she dresses or her lyrics may seem a bit, controversial, she promotes a positive message. Maria has been through alot, wether it be mental illness, harassment, or just regular old hard times, she has made it through and kept a positive mentality. One thing that influenced me was the fact that when she started her band, she was told that she would not be able to make it simply because she was a woman. However, she came back to the studio that very day and stole the mic right out of her future band mate's hand. Maria has also spoke out and sang about how society's branding has no affect on your actual person, and that you don't have to be everyone's "Dirty Pretty." (It's a pun, i'ts one of her song tittles) This has stuck with me because, i have always felt burdened by society's limits and how other people view me, and have been VERY self conscieous. But when i listen to her music some times i feel as if I don't have to listen or take to heart what people say because i am my own person and have the freedom to do whatever I so please. One last thing she sings about is her past experiences, especcially her own journey of breaking past society's limits. Over all Maria has greatly impacted not only the metal world of being one of the strongest female influences and breaking the gender wall, but also her listener's hearts and minds with her touching message. A last thing i'd like to add is the fact that Maria showed me that through art, a universal theme of positivity could go so far with just the click of button or tap of a screen; with just that small action, someone could learn so much from only sounds that go in and out of their ears.

Yasssss. I love that you choose someone who breaks barriers, especially with being a woman. From what i read maria brink sounds like she was very strong willed. I like who she is already and that's just from what i read on her. The vibe that i get from reading about her is im going to get what i want either you give it to me nicely when i ask or im going to take it. But i understand the barrier with being a woman especially in certain careers because there are many stereotypes with being a woman and its like almost every day you have to prove someone wrong. I feel motivated and inspired just by reading about her.

I like to draw and I hope I am able to speak my mind and affect people positively with my art just like logic does with his music. logic is able to use his talents to bring people together and speak for those who can't speak for themselves. logic inspires me to show the world who I and what I think through my artwork. I also admire Logic, and I think he's an amazing musician. Not only do I love his music, but I think it's amazing that he's using it to talk about really important issues, like how he talked brought attention to teen suicide in his newest song. I've read a lot of articles about teens who were inspired by his new song to get help for their issues. After he released it, calls to the suicide hotline increased, and many lives were saved. I admire that he makes music about meaningful topics, while other musicians are making songs about the same generic stuff. People like Logic who use their influence for good deserve more recognition then they get. Also, did you know he was born and raised in Maryland?

I am inspired by J. K. Rowling. J. K. Rowling is a great author and I love to read her books. She inspires me because I love to write, and I would like to keep getting better. Before J. K. Rowling became an author, she didn't have the best life. She had moved to Portugal in 1990 to teach English, and she met and married Jorge Arantes and had a child. However, their marriage ended in divorce and J. K. Rowling took her daughter and moved to Edinburgh to be near her sister. As Rowling was struggling to support her child on welfare, she decided to start writing. When she finished writing Harry Potter and the Philosopher's (Sorcerer's) Stone, she continuously tried to sell it, but she kept getting turned down. Someone finally bought her book and helped her begin her career. I am inspired by J. K. Rowling because even through the tough times of her life, she got through it and managed to turn her life around.

Since you also are into writing you really should not be worried. Rowling was turned down 12 times before her book was published. Anything that involves success takes time just like how you can't become a NBA star overnight. I like how you recognize Melanie's raw image and songs. She does have music that is relatable and she may be one of the only "real' celebrity. Like you said, she doesn't give off any fake vibes or pretends to be someone she's not. I love Melanie Martinez! I listen to her a music alot too. I found her through one of my greatest friends, and still follow her. Going off of what you said, i too like how she sings about stereotypes, branding and labels that society gives us. I know that when she released her most recent album Crybaby, alot of critics were really blown back from her style of music and how "alternative" it is. I personnally think that her music isn't alternative, it just talks about what most artists won't these days, which is awesome. I read that when she was in middle and high school, she would cry alot about everything, and thats how she tittled her album. I also read at the end where she had a vintage collection of dolls from the 50s and 60s which i thought was quite intresting, and very befitting for her. All in all Melanie has great music, and i (once again) too love the fact of how she sings about current labels through heavy symbolism.

The famous person I chose who has inspired me a great deal is Oprah Winfrey. When she was younger, Oprah was sexually abused for most of her childhood. When she was fourteen she became pregnant and hid her pregnancy for seven months. After starting her television career, Oprah kept the secret from the world thinking that it would shatter her whole world. Thinking that this secret would cause everyone to dislike her. Now, she sees this as a learning experience. She didn’t let this incident hinder her from becoming the most influential black woman of her generation. One thing I love about Oprah is that she doesn’t just encourage African American females. She encourages people of all walks of life no matter race, gender or age. Oprah inspires me to not let my faults or shortcomings affect me negatively, but to use those things to push me to work harder. Before this assignment I had known very little about Oprah Winfrey. Mostly just that she was a great role model and was self-made. The following video has placed her as a major inspiration of mine.

I love the fact that you were able to take something so melancholy and learn from it. most people look at sad experiences as a bad thing and always try to forget about them. however I feel like you and Oprah are people who are able to look past their sad times and learn from them. Many people inspire me, but who inspires me the most? That person is Michio Kaku, a famous physicist that has many theories and inspiring thoughts. He went through a lot in his life such as being drafted into war and earning a Ph. D. He inspires me by having the efforts of pushing young to old minds into thinking of what the outside world is like, as well as having a little of fun in the process. Many of his YouTube videos make me wonder the solutions of complex problems and the theories that he may ask. This stuff gradually pushes my mind into thinking of many things, such as I mentioned earlier, which may make me want to go out and discover things for my own. Though some things I may not agree with, they still are interesting, especially to hear things from a different perspective. Now, Kaku is about 70 years old and still counting, as obtained from https://www.biography.com/people/michio-kaku-21429817. Kaku sometimes works with Neil deGrasse Tyson, another great mind I wish to meet. One of my most favorite videos is of him explaining the string theory, where he is credited in for exploring, this video is one of many examples of why he inspires me.

I like how you chose a person that has gone through a lot in his life with much experience like being drafted into war, but also interests you to think in depth of a certain theory or question. I didn’t think you’d chose Michio Kaku because I’ve never heard you talk about him, but I also like how you chose someone that you can relate to by also wanting to discover things on your own. I encourage you to discover things on your own because you could probably discover something new and interesting that you can be proud of. I also like to watch videos about certain theories or problems that we have in our world. I should go watch his videos, he sounds interesting to me.

I find it interesting how someone who was drafted into a war became a scientist. I personally have not heard of anyone who has done that. I like how you not only describe what he has done, but what he is now doing. It's interesting how you use his theories to try to come up with your own solutions while watching his videos too.

There are many people that inspires me like my family. A famous/well know person that inspires me is Wolfgang Mozart. He inspires me because just like me he was a young musician, but unlike me Mozart satrted music at a younger age than I. When Mozart was 6 years old he learned how to play the piano, violin, and the viola. Mozart was very talented at just the age of 6, this inspires me because when I start playing a piece of music and feel like I cannot do it I will always think of Mozart and how he started composition music at very young age. There was a time when he was 13 he went to see a proformance Mozart could write the whole song that the person played frim memory. I am inspired by Mozart because he had already a lot of success he could composs music he could play 3 insturmenrs whill all I can do is play one instrument I can't even tune my own violin. When I say I can't do something I always think of Mozart. Mozart did many things that can't even do that is why when there is an opportunity that I know will benefit me I always take that opportunity. I always try to challenge myself to see how far I can go to see if just like Mozart I can ocomplish many things. httphttps://www.google.com/amp/s/www.biography.com/.amp/people/wolfgang-mozart-9417115

Woah, that's actually a really cool idea, I think It's awesome how you have a inspiration when it comes to orchestra. When ever I play hard music I always try to imagine what's going on in the song. When we started playing Russian Sailor Dance I had always tried to play the down bow parts as if I were actually on a boat moving like the waves. I always enjoy seeing other people around me immersing their selves in music, I always think playing the violin is very calming. I really think it's a good idea to have a musician to inspire yourself and push you through the challenge of a complicated piece. If you ever get the chance listen to Chloé Trevor's play she's a super talented violinist.

I think Mozart is an amazing person! How he learned to play three instruments is amazing and I think that he was gifted in music. I believe its great that someone can be passionate at music to start at the age of six. I think it's great that you have an inspirational person that wants to make you practice more and more in orchestra. I believe that you will be better at playing the violin by practicing! I also think its wonderful that you keep on challenging yourself to try and become better at playing! Good luck!

It was hard for me to chose someone who inspires me because, I feel that I am absolutely 100% Carmen... but after what felt like days of scrolling mindlessly through google searches I finally found my spirit animal. Kesha Rose Sebert -a.k.a. KE$HA- is a multi-millionaire pop star. Kesha is an inspiration to me because of her care free young life and how strong she is now after going through the nightmare she had to fight. This heroine did so well with hiding her eating disorder, coping with thought of being sexually harassed, while keeping up her career. Everyday I strive to be as strong as she is, looking on the positive side of things is harder then you think when everything around you is fall apart and everyone is running circles around you. Along with the struggles Kesha faced, she also started her career at just 17. Being so young and having such a successful business is hard to come by. Just like her, I want to be happy with my career and be on a roll at such a young age ( which is very unlikely, but fingers crossed).

An inspirational person that impacted my life is Misty Copeland. She is an inspiration to me because not only is she the first African American performer to be appointed as a principal dancer for American Ballet Theater, but she struggled to get there. The type of struggle she went through i would of never thought she would make it this far, her mom and her six mixed ethnic heritage siblings moving from boyfriend to boyfriend house. Her mom been in several marriages, her forth husband was emotionally and physically abusive towards his children and stepchildren causing them to move to a small motel they stayed in. To be able to cope and maintain with everything that was going on in her life also dealing with financial problems is what i think really makes a fighter and a passionate person. I feel like if you have a passionate personality then you can kind of work through any problems that come your way. This relates to me because my dance teacher always says that i'm passionate in my moves and not just in what i do but how i do it and how i tell a story through my body language. One day i do hope to follow in her footsteps and make it to broadway doing a lead role in the "Chocolate Nut Cracker" just like she did. In the Los Angeles Times Magazine Allen said "She's an incredible gifted ballerina ...She's a child who dances in her soul". I want somebody important to say that to me one day i want to be up there doing what she's doing, inspiring little girls like me. This biography was really helpful because it got straight to the point but i also knew background things about her because i picked a book out for class about her and everything on that website was in that book even the quotes she said in the book. https://www.biography.com/people/misty-copeland

A famous individual that inspires me is Vivien Thomas. Growing up, he aspired to pursue a career in medicine. Thomas hoped to go to college, but the Great Depression worsened. This made it difficult for him to collect the money needed for tuition. However, his aspirations to become a doctor did not diminish. His passage into the medical world came with Alfred Blalock. Vivien was uneducated, but through hard work he managed to prove he could still be a great surgeon. He had multiple chances to give up, but he refused to. He has influenced my personality by instilling the importance of hard work and persistence in me. This has greatly impacted my life in multiple ways.

I like how you can chose someone that impacted your life in multiple ways by instilling the importance of hard work and persistence in you. I also like how you chose a person that influences your identity of beliefs and values from the identity web that other people might not have. I’ve somewhat heard about Viven Thomas through some research. I also believe that hard work will eventually lead someone to triumph like how Viven Thomas did by not giving up even though he had the chance to. This also gives me an interest to do more research on Viven Thomas just by how he didn’t give up his aspirations of becoming a doctor even though there were difficulties.

It is cool to see that someone who went through so many struggles during a hard time succeed. Do you want to be a doctor? Or are you just inspired by Vivien because of his hard work and persistence? I once though about being a doctor, then I realized I was way to lazy and unintelligent to actually make it. I respect anyone who had to go through the battle of schooling to be come a doctor. Especially when it was during the great depression.

That would inspires me to because even if he did not have tuition money he still worked hard to get to college. We all say that we can't do it but do we really try hard enough. Just like Vivien Thomas we should keep our goals in mind and keep working at what we want to do. If we keep trying and trying to do something we will most definitely suceed. There are a lot of people who say but I tried and I still have not suceeded well I say keep trying and one day you will succeed.

That is incredible that nothing could stop him from achieving his dreams! He went through one of the toughest times and it is inspring that he became a surgen. That is great that he was uneducated, but still got a job during The Great Depression. He shows how if you are determined and try your best, you can succeed. After reading this he inspired me to try my best at school to get a better education. He was still determined at tough times which makes him more amazing! I like how you made it short, but it gave a lot of information.

If you ask a roomful of people, “Who inspires you?” you will find that everyone is inspired by a different combination of skills, and that every individual has a different set of abilities. This is evident when we look at well-known leaders around the world. From Mother Teresa to Steve Jobs, from Malala to Nelson Mandela, each displayed different leadership qualities. Learning to inspire begins with discovering and cultivating the hidden talents each of us already possess. I have a lot of different role models so that I am able to experience a different prospective of how people lead. But when it comes to who inspires me I immediately think of Admiral Michelle J. Howard: she’s fearless, unique, and she works for what she wants. She reminds me of a person I want to become – before I became too busy with sports in school I was in a naval league cadet program and I was the highest-ranking girl in my unit ranking at petty officer 1st class – seeing that not only are African Americans making history female African Americans have come so far from not having any rights to basically ruling the world by changing stereotypes. When people say things like girls can’t play sports like football because they’re too soft or girls shouldn’t be allowed to do certain jobs because “this is a man’s world”. Well people like Mrs. Howard make me go harder to break barriers like she did by becoming the first woman to become a four-star admiral. As Vice Chief of Naval Operations, which she began that same day, she was the first African-American and the first woman to hold that post. Howard also became the first female four-star admiral to command operational forces, when she assumed command of U.S. Naval Forces Europe and U.S. Naval Forces Africa. And on July 1, 2014 I became inspired by this amazing woman.

I was really “hooked” by the opening of your blog post. To know that someone has a role model whom they aspire to be like daily is very motivational. It lets you know that the person is striving to be a better person not just be the person whom they aspire to be(if that makes sense). Its also motivational that you are personally trying to break stereotypical barriers. I’ve also been subject of this. Sometimes people underestimate me or my capabilities because I am a black male. I’ve had my own family not believe that I’m in honors classes. This response was just very inspiring as a whole and I hope you succeed in becoming your best self

Wow this really great! I've noticed no one has posted the same person in their blogs. Each person has a different person they are inspired by on the blogs, and each one is amazing. Yours is really amazing though you get right down to examples of each persons inspiration and then yours. You get right down to the point of how you want to be like her. I think you picked a really good inspiration to look up too because now in these days there really are not good people to look up too. Now you have people with silicone bodies, fake relationships, and the media ,but at least you have Michelle J. Howard
